How hard is it to change your rear breaks from drum to disc?

There is very little to be gained by this conversion unless you drive in the Rockie and experience brake fade.

Don't do it.How hard is it to change your rear breaks from drum to disc?
If you're a pretty good shade tree mechanic, it's very easy. There are many kits available for your car on Ebay and in automotive magazines. Even with a little bad luck, you should be able to do it in four to eight hours. How hard is it to change your rear breaks from drum to disc?
It can be very time consuming and expensive. Even if you can find a system that will convert to your vehicle.
i own a shop, and it depends on what kind of car your working with ,some are easier than others are ,and there are conversion kits for just about any of them you can use that makes it easy to do,i have used several of the kits, and its a lot easier than going junk yard hunting for parts.that's the best way to go though is with a kit, good luck with it ,i hope this help,s.
Not at all particularly if you buy the complete swap over from one company. there are many sites, the majority have excellent reputations. They can't sell poor unmatched pieces. Their skin could be sued at a moments notice. It's straight forward. too easy not to do it your self. Good Luck.
hard.......no not really........expensive.........you bet..........plan on replacing all the hydraulic,s....master cylinder,proportioning valve,brake lines,[increase to larger line]rear brake hose,....as well as the calipers%26amp;rotor,s.
