How can I reset the immobiliser on a T reg Peugeot 406 TD?

Recently had to change broken ignition now immobiliser stopping engine from starting!How can I reset the immobiliser on a T reg Peugeot 406 TD?
From the Peugeot 406 owner's manual, page 4: (translated from the Dutch version)



CODE CARD: (words in ( ) are mine.)

On this card (a plastic credit-card-looking thing, with the Peugeot Lion symbol) there is the identification code that your Peugeot Service dealer needs for working on the immobilizer. The code is covered by a film, remove the film (scratch-off,like a lottery ticket) Only if this is strictly necessary.

Store the code card in a safe place away from the auto.



Do you have this code card from your original ignition? Or from the new ignition KEY? The transponder chip is inside the key.How can I reset the immobiliser on a T reg Peugeot 406 TD?
ok, this link describes how to do this, but understand, we dont want you stealing a car so you must have the security code to input or else it wont work. IF YOU DONT HAVE YOUR CODE you must then bring it to a dealer.
