Landrover freelander breaks?

how much do you think it would cost to get the break pads, discs and break fluid changed on my 2001 land rover freelander, genuine help only please as i have a tight budget at the moment. many thanksLandrover freelander breaks?
拢40 ish for the discs if you shop around, and 拢25 ish for the pads, brake fluid about 拢10, if you are competant you can do it yourself in an afternoon, expect a garage to charge for around an hour to an hour and a half in labour.Landrover freelander breaks?
Land Rovers are a premium brand (sorta) and the parts are very expensive and somewhat hard to come by. The rotors will be roughly $100-150 for the front set and pads are around $75. The brake fluid service is more labor intensive than anything. Depending if you are going to the dealer or private shop, you are looking at $400-$700 to have the job done depending on where you take it.
Not an expensive job at all, Landrover speaking.....you guys must pay a lot more for parts than we do in the UK!

All done and dusted, we had our Range Rover done, the discs where pitted and pads down to the metal when we bought it, My husband fixed her up in an afternoon, and had change out of 拢60.
If your on a budget then you are definately in the wrong vehicle. It doesn't get much more expensive than the Freelander for anything.

As for how much it will cost, if you really want to know then you should call the local shop you normally do your work at and ask them. After all, the only number that matters is the one given to you buy the folks who will actually do the work.
Dead cheap.

Go to Paddocks http://www.paddockspares.com/

depending on your chassis number a complete front set of pads and discs will cost between 拢29.49 and 拢44.49 both plus vat.

Halfords do 5 Ltrs of Dot 4 brake fluid for about 拢18.00

Whole job should take you less than half a day (normally about and hour and a half tops).
