How can I make this speech funny ?

Tommorow I have to make a speech saying why I want to represnt my year on the school council. Any tips on how to make it funny or improve it ?

I was the school council representative in the juniors and for the last year. Last year I tried to fulfil my duties to the best of my ability and would do the same this year. I am always willing to listen and put forward your ideas the best I can. Last year the school council did change certain things, such as being able to change in breaks, which was something one of you ask me to put forward. There have also been some things refused like cooking club, but I will continue to put forward these ideas. Other ideas that I would like to put forward to the school council would be having bells in the changing room and being able to have packed lunches in year seven and eight. I would always listen to your ideas and put them forward even if I don檛 agree with them.

I would really enjoy representing year eight and putting forward any issues you have, so if you want a better school life, vote for me!

Personally i think you say ';forward'; too much, you should also sell yourself more, make out like you where the best representative last year and you'll be the best this year, how about:

As you know I was the school council representative in the juniors and for the last year.

Last year I tried to fulfil my duties to the best of my ability and i will do the same for you this year.

As always I am willing to listen and put forward any ideas that you have as best as I can.

Last year after I was asked I was able to change certain things for the benefit of everyone, such as being able to change during breaks (here you can add a funny story of an incident where someone was not able to change)

There have also been some things which were refused like cooking club, but I promise I will continue to put forward these ideas.

Other ideas that I would like to put into action to the school council would be having bells in the changing room and being able to have packed lunches in year seven and eight.

I would always listen to your ideas and put them into action even if I personally don檛 agree with them.

I would really enjoy representing year eight and dealing with any issues you have, so if you want a better school life, vote for me!How can I make this speech funny ?
The essence of humor is pain, presented in absurdity, as though that is an escape from it. Serving oneself up as a dedicated servant often kicked aside in a clown-like manner by vested interests, keeps from meanness and maintains a good mental health attitude for everyone which is refreshing in politics. Also it presents your accomplishments and goodwill toward those represented. But lose the clown nose. Regards, Larry.
By rewriting it after having a bottle of wine maybe .
You should throw lipstick on a pig somewhere in there!
You're not allowed pack lunches in a school? Like..wha?
