Change breaks, fix CD Player

Does anyone know how not to get ripped off for a change of breaks and fixing the CD player (CD changer) that comes with a Honda. Where and how can I get the best price. Honda dealership wants to charge about $250 for the CD player, and the only problem is that it looks like a CD is stuck in the CD changer somewhere, that's all. The breaks estimate is also likely to be in the hundreds.

Throw the CD player in the bin and get a new one. Ask around your friends and see if they know anyone who can do your brakes cheap. If you lived near me id do them for $50 if you supplied the parts but i live in the U.K. so sorry.
