Someone was borrowing my bike for a while and he changed some things. I'm not a huge huge bike enthusiast but I need to change the breaks. Right now the front breaks are on the right handlebars, and the back breaks on the left. I'm used to it the other way, so does anyone know how to switch it back?How do I change switch the breaks on my bike to opposite handlebars?
slide the grips off - not always real easy, might have to pry a bit w/ a screwdriver to loosen them up and wiggle back and forth etc. Loosen the bolt that clamps the brake lever to the bars. Slide them off, switch sides and put all back as before. OR: Disconnect cables at the levers and switch.
