Servicing my car ..checklist.?

Hi my car has 140.000 miles

Is a honda civic..

I learned to do some basic service of the car my self (checking breaks /changing breakpads discs, changing oil and filter, fuel filter, etc)

Can you please provide me with a service checklist (things that the garages do when you take your car for service)..

I was also wondering if there is specific service / part replacement that needs to be done considering how many miles it has ( ineed to change the cambelt at some point but except that) e.g replacing a part in the engine.

I really like the car and i want to make sure that it will run reliably for many more miles...

I think i should take it to honda a service soon :-)Servicing my car ..checklist.?
Your car has a 140.000 mi. The timing belt. That you called cambelt. Should be replacedwant. The repair manual call for 160.000 mi. Well you don't want it to brake. Cause it will cost a lot more damage than replacing it early. The transmission should be service at around 100.000 mi. Some have filter that need to be replace. The velicle should have had a turn-up. This includes changing the fuel filter, air filter an crankcase vent filter if it has one. You can get a full range of services on your vehicle at the dealship.Servicing my car ..checklist.?
Get your timing belt changed. Since your car has 140,000 miles on it, now is a good time to change it.
The timing belt is probably a good idea. Your owners manual should provide you the information you seek.

In addition, you probably have one from a previous visit to a repair service. The companies will generally give you an estimate form, where they'll check the applicable actions they'll take after inspecting your car. You could probably visit Firestone, Pep Boys or one of the other shops and get a blank form...
