How many people voted for Change by electing Barack Obama..... and then turned around and RE-elected the SAME bums and losers who have been screwing up our ';broken Washington';?



Not only was it terribly disappointing to watch Obama get elected, but I couldn't help but shake my head as I saw Kerry.... Murtha... and others ';win';.

When Bush was president for 8 years, 2 out of that 8 Dems had the majority. BUT Bush did not corporate despite the fact that he and the republicans made a mess of things for 6 years.

You are entitled to your opinion, but you have it backwards.
I think a lot of the people who voted on both sides are idiots personally. Moreover, I think at least 50 percent of the American vote is comprised of people who don't know anything about politics anyway. That said, Obama deserved to win in my opinion. The thought of what would happen under McCain/Palin frankly scares me, but it all depends on what your ethics are. Have you ever thought that maybe those people were actually re-elected into Washington because someone thinks they represent them well? Just because people don't agree with your opinions doesn't mean they're wrong. So my advice to you is to get over it and accept it.
Uh, Republicans have run Washington for most of the last 28 years. (Yes, Clinton was president for 8, but for 6 of those had a Republican Congress completely hostil etoward him; yes, Dems have had a slim majority, but not enough to get very much their way.)



So, you blame the party that's been out of power the last generation for all the rpoblems caused by the party that's been IN pwoer all this time.





Truth just isn't in neo-cons.



Obama needs a Congress that won't try to thwart him in everything he tries to do; a Congress that won't keep trying to make EVERYTHING worse for the country.



I just hope people don't lose patience two years from now. They can't work miracles, and there's no way they can ever undo all the damage the Republicans have caused all this time.



It's not stupid to want to turn us from the brink of ruin.



What IS stupid is blaming the powerless for that ruin, and think that those who CAUSED the ruin are the solution to it.


The problem is they chose not to listen to the truth about Obama. They stopped listening to any truths after they heard change. Obama is such a smooth talker, with so much charisma they couldn't see the evil behind the mask. The economic change (this NEW change) was already tried by Teddy Roosevelt back in the 20's which brought about the deep depression. I honestly believe that Obama wants to break out nation so the New World Order will come into play. That's what the Clinton's tried to do when they were in.

However it is easy to be blinded by evil. I feel bad for those who chose to ignore the truth because they wanted change so badly. They will get their change but they won't like it. Or just maybe they will be too ignorant to notice.

If Obama raises the taxes on big business, it won't be big business that looses, it will be us. Big business will only raise their prices to compensate for the taxes and we all loose.

When it hits them in their pocket book, (and it will, without a doubt) maybe then they will see what they have truly done.

With taxes being raised, if someone wins a million dollar lottery, they will be giving the government $750,000.00 of it. Not hardly worth buying the ticket. Huh?!
Obama isnt for change, he is for more of the same. A lot more. Lets spend ourselves rich.
