How to change a rear break pad on a 95 ford thunderbird?

i have a 95 ford thunderbird and i need suggestions on how to take of the rear break padHow to change a rear break pad on a 95 ford thunderbird?
it requires a special tool to rotate the piston back into the caliper

With brake drum removed, install Brake Cylinder Clamp or equivalent over the ends of the rear wheel cylinder.

Disconnect parking brake rear cable and conduit from parking brake lever.



Remove two brake shoe hold-down retainers, brake shoe hold-down springs and brake shoe hold down spring pins.

Spread brake shoes over piston shoe guide slots. Lift rear brake shoes and linings, springs and adjuster off rear brake backing plate as an assembly. Do not bend brake shoe adjusting lever.



Remove brake shoe adjusting screw spring.

To separate rear brake shoes and linings , remove brake shoe retracting springs.

Remove parking brake lever pin retainer and spring washer. Remove brake shoe adjusting lever from adapter.





Installation



Apply a light coating of Disc Brake Caliper Slide Grease or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESA-M1C172-A to rear brake backing plate brake shoe and lining contact areas.

Apply a light coat of Premium Long-Life Grease or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESA-M1C75-B to threaded areas of adjuster screw and brake shoe adjusting screw socket. Assemble brake adjuster washer. Turn brake shoe adjusting screw socket all the way down on screw, then back off one-half turn.

Install parking brake lever to trailing shoe with spring washer and new parking brake lever pin retainer . Crimp parking brake lever pin retainer to securely retain parking brake lever .

Position trailing shoe or rear brake backing plate and attach hand parking brake rear cable and conduit .

Position leading shoe on rear brake backing plate and attach brake shoe retracting spring to brake shoes and linings.

Install adjuster assembly to slots in rear brake shoe and lining. Brake shoe adjusting screw socket end must fit into slot in leading shoe (wider slot). Slot in adjuster nut must fit into slots in trailing shoe and parking brake lever.





Install brake shoe adjusting lever on pin on leading rear brake shoe and lining and to slot in brake shoe adjusting screw socket .

Install brake shoe retracting spring in slot on trailing shoe and slot in brake shoe adjusting lever . Brake shoe adjusting lever should contact star wheel and adjuster assembly.

Install brake shoe and lining anchor pins, springs and retainers. Remove Brake Cylinder Clamp.

Install brake drum as outlined.
