Change - Strategies for ?

Do you have any ideas on how to make change successful? I'm talking about life changes, specifically breaking bad habits and living a more fufilling life. I want to change an aspect of my life and i think i'll need to change my thinking, my attitude and actions. I'm not very confident and i don't know where to start but i know the important thing is to just do it.



Can you share some ideas or experiences that helped you when you decided to improve your living?

You have to want to do something bad enough in order to be successful. Two years ago I quit smoking- never thought it would happen but I so desperately wanted to - I think that was key. I replaced smoking with exercise. As I started to feel better, it started to get easier. The reward was how psychically healthy I felt. Good luck, pray a lot and only stick with the positive influences in your life, the people who will encourage you to be the fantastic person you want to be.Change - Strategies for ?
Here is the number one rule when going through a life change:

YOU NEED TO FIND SOMETHING TO FILL THE VOID.

When you give up a part of your life, you should always try to find something to fill that hole that you old actions left. This could be a new hobby like running or photography. It could be a new habbit, like playing with your dog or chewing gum. Anything really. Just fill it with a GOOD habit so as to not fall into another self-destructive pattern.
