Can i do this to change my break pads?

I have a ford escort, 1992. The back left tire is making scratching noises when i drive, i've driven it about 35 km when it started and i've read by the signs thats its break pads (hopefully the rotors good), but i live in a town where there's no junk yards, can i just rip break pads off a buick revera that i have in my lawn? maybe the rotors too? do they have to be the same size tires? my car feels messed up when i break, not crazy but it feels as if its pulseing. how much canadain would it cost me to take it in if i have too? thanks for your helpCan i do this to change my break pads?
Hey, Oldschool, you missed a few!

1. Lack of use of capital letters.

2. ';I've driven it about 35 km. when it started';?

3. ';That I have IN my lawn';? Buried?

4. Pulseing?

5. If I have too?? Me too. I might have to. Can i do this to change my break pads?
No the brake pads will not fit. The thing to do is to just go buy a cheap set of pads.I have done that in the past even if the rotor has groves in it. If you are down to the fins you will need to replace it all so.
Some Escorts have discs. If it is a GT or LXE model it will have four wheel disc brakes. Easy to tell by badging or check the engine and if it is a DOHC then it will have four wheel discs.

It sounds like the discs are warped. The cost for machining is pretty cheap. I have paid as much as 5 USD to as little as free ';since I do so much business here'; the manager said.

Call a few auto parts shops and as if they can machine discs and if they say yes then ask for a quote. They will tell you how it will cost, if they can be machined. If they are too far gone they can tell you how much replacements cost.
lol

1)it is spelled BRAKES

2)you'd take brake pads off of a car in the junk yard ?

3)there are no pads on the rear of an escort (they're shoes)

4)ford and buick parts do not match up

5)it is spelled CANADIAN.
NO,NO,NO you caannot interchange brake pads and rotors like that all cars are differnt sizes and differnt styles on brake componets just go to a auto parts store and buy the correct parts there not that expensive.and do it the right way
brake pads won,t from a buick onto a ford. the rotors and rims won,t either.
