How do I remove the side pods from an arai quantum ii?

I think some pin inside the visor changing mechanism broke and I'm trying to get the side pod off to fix it... do I just pull on the pod till it comes off?How do I remove the side pods from an arai quantum ii?

If you lift visor there should be a red release catch inside the slot

after visor is off the 'pods' should pry off and twist slightly. They are a very tight fit and easy to break.

I think Arai still sells replacements
